Notice to New Patients

Dr. Thomas Dorman and the other practitioners at the Paracelsus Clinic in Federal Way, Washington, are keen to help people with their illnesses. However, the clinic does not follow various governmental and other guidelines. Others refer to the approach as "alternative Medicine." We like to think of it as natural and responsible medicine. We aim to follow the principles of Hippocrates, Paracelsus and Maimonedes. We believe that the relationship between the patient and physician is private and for the patient’s benefit.

A counterpart of this is that the clinic does not deal with any insurance company directly, nor is Dr. Dorman a Medicare provider. This, under the Kennedy-Kassebaum law allows us to contract privately. Neither patient nor doctor can submit claims to Medicare.

Insurance Billing

Patients will receive a bill and /or receipt for services which they may submit to their insurance for reimbursement, if they choose.

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Services Available

Medical care and evaluations (Hospital care is not available).

This is performed by the physician.

Continuous Care

Patients are encouraged to use E mail and if necessary the phone for follow up questions and issues. There are no specific charges for this. However for prolonged discussion patients are encouraged to make phone appointments.

Gastric analysis

This is a procedure which measures the acidity in the stomach and its reserve capacity. Many people with chronic ill health suffer from insufficiency of gastric acid. This seems to contradict the opinion of many other physicians. The test is important in planning care, however.

Intravenous Therapy

The clinic offers chelation treatment and a variety of other intravenous support for ill health including for macular degeneration.

EEG Neurofeedback Treatment

This is a form of non-invasive, non-drug treatment which is very helpful for many neurological, psychological and mental illnesses.

Evaluation with CRT

This is a form of assessment of the autonomic nervous system which helps in functional diagnoses.

Colonics

Detoxification is achieved mostly through the intestines. It is our belief that this form of cleansing can be enhanced with colonic treatments.

Oxidative Therapies

Several forms of cutting edge oxidative therapies are available.
